Yes, after a long anticipation, the Stonebwoy BhimNation-Ghana Rocks 2016 concert happened yesterday at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Hosted by YFM’s Ogee and Elia Chebib and with great support from Dj Vyrusky, the event saw performances from DemTinz, DxD, Articcle Wan, Gallaxy, Donzy, Medikal, Ras Kuuku, Trigmatic, Jupitar, Samini, LAX, Eugy official, Kaakie, Rudeboi Ranking, Kofi Kinaata, Saraki….the list is long, you name them.
The auditorium was full to capacity, I’m sure the Charterhouse people sold more and more tickets because the crowd on the night, mehn. The audience were hyperactive, they indeed came to have a blast of their lifetime. Throughout the show, there was never a dull moment, I mean never. Artiste after artiste, made sure they gave off their best to the satisfaction the audience.
Describing what really happened on the night is just something like a beggar’s description for me. I must admit, Stonebwoy’s energy on the night was just something else, his voice, dexterity, his zeal to leave an indelible mark was clearly written all over his face. One could clearly deduced that he was extremely prepared for the show.
Combining live band performance and yes, the DJ coming in at a point is no joke, and artiste after artiste, Stonebwoy was on the stage throughout. It got to a point I was even feeling ‘someway bi’ for his leg, because from 10:30pm thereabout up till the end of the show, Stonebwoy made sure he was on stage with every act, he didn’t leave any act on stage to perform alone, no.
Stonebwoy on the night proved that he’s one of the best live band performers we have in Ghana. On a regular basics, you would attend concerts and see the VVIPs just on their seat throughout the show, but that didn’t happen at Stonebwoy’s concert. Forget the VVIPs, they all stood on their feet. You should have seen D Black on his feet, Micheal Essien, Stephen Appiah, Becca, Beverly Afaglo, you name them, his own musicians were all on their feet. The auditorium was lit to the brim that you one couldn’t even seat.
4bent crew was there to do their own thing when Stonebwoy was performing his Bhimnation song. But Samini on the night was just awesome. You wouldn’t even know he was doing live band. Samini is just good when it comes to live band.
Around 1:56am, Tekno came on stage. He also thrilled the crowd with his Duro song and when the time came for him to do his ‘national anthem’ song, Pana, the ladies took over the job for him, eih, every lady in there wanted to prove that she can really sing Tekno’s Pana song from start to finish.
Stonebwoy’s Ghana Rocks show was just a sight to behold. Sound was top notch, lightning was done in a way that won’t blind your eyes, security was top notch. Oo how else can I describe this show?? Stonebwoy, please let’s do this next year, please…and yes, a very big shouts to the Patch Bay Band, that was a great delivery right there. Awesome show by all standards!

2016 Efya Girl Talk concert is over but it will never be appropriate if we decide to keep mute about what some ladies wore to the event which happened on December 23 at the National Theater in Accra.
Some ladies used several months to plan for this big event so if they take several days to sit down, design a plan of attending the show and we say nothing about them, then we are not being fair to them. Not just that, some ladies also spent huge sums of money on their looks just to have fun at the 5th edition of the event so we need to talk about them as well.
Zionfelix.net on the night of the event captured some ladies on tape for the world to know what they also wore to the concert because it should not always be about the celebrities. Some ladies can never step out without showing more than necessary.
Whilst such ladies exhibited their goodies, others wanted only their partners to enjoy their properties so they covered them. Watch what some ladies wore to the 2016 edition of Efya Girl Talk concert.

For most Churches in Ghana it is forbidden to wear a pair of trousers to church service but according to gospel act, Piesie Esther she sees no problem with women putting on trousers to church.
“First we heard people saying you can’t wear trousers to church but ladies put them on at home so it’s the same thing… For me I’m comfortable in that it doesn’t expose part of your body.”
She added that “It’s ok for women to wear trousers to church but they should put on the decent ones which will not expose parts of their body. Women who put on tight trousers can do that with good fitting top to cover the too tight parts.”

Just recently, one of the highly respected radio personalities of our time, Andy Dosty released his maiden song titled ‘Never Give Up’ that features Kessse of Tv3’s Mentor fame.
Ever since Akwasi Amoh otherwise known as Andy Dosty who is a broadcaster with the multimedia group (Hitz Fm,Joy Fm and Adom Fm)released the song, many showbiz enthusiasts have advised the astute radio figure to concentrate on his career as a radio presenter than to add music to his broadcasting profession.
The recent personality to add his voice to this matter is outspoken highlife musician; Ekow Micah.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Hotfmonlinegh.com,the “Aba” hitmaker made a staggering revelation that it’s a disgrace for a media personality to do music hence Andy Dosty is coming to disgrace himself like Blakk Rasta.
Legendary Ekow Micah emphasized emphatically that, he just can’t comprehend why God has blessed Andy with his broadcasting profession and instead of using it to help Ghanaian music to flourish, he is rather competing with the musicians by releasing his own songs.
Sounding extremely disdained,Ekow Micah quoted,” the music is so pathetic when you listen to it…
What is music about what he has done?”.
He cautioned Andy to respect his profession because most of the musicians feel he envies them so he is also doing music but they are petrified to voice out.
The most exhilarating part of the interview was when Ekow Micah explained that Andy Dosty is coming to disgrace himself like Blakk Rasta who had the media and thought the whole world was his my calling himself the raggae president but couldn’t defend himself when he was summoned by the parliamentarians to explain why he said 80% of them smoke weed.

Rapper Sarkodie has disclosed reasons why he didn’t rap himself on his much-talked about trumpetsong. The rapper again talked about why Kofi Kinaata wasn’t part of the acts who featured on the song
Lots of critics have had their say as to why Sarkodie didn’t feature on the trumpet song.
According to Sarkodie, he just wanted to feature those young acts to expose them to the world and he added that he will be collaborating with Kofi Kinaata on a different song only that they are waiting for the correct timing and as well, the correct record.
On Metro TV when asked why Kofi Kinaata wasn’t part of the chosen, he said “With Kofi Kinaata, we’ve talked about doing something together. Actually, his manager and I talked and it’s just that we are not getting the right time. So yes, with the right time and a good record, certainly the fans should expect something from us soon, the fans should just keep their fingers crossed.”
Sarkodie, right there responding to why Kofi Kinaata wasn’t on the trumpet song. On why he didn’t rap on the song, he said,
“I didn’t rap because I thought the song will be too long. Even without me rapping, it’s more than 8 minutes and as well I just wanted people to know about the great talents we have here in Ghana. It’s not all about Sarkodie everyday, the people outside have to also hear about the great acts we have down here too.”
Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert is on come the 25th of December for a cool Ghc 100 and Ghc150 respectively and will witness sterling performances from the grind hitmaker himself, A.I, Shatta Wale, R2bees, Edem, MDK, Strongee, Flowking Stone.
Medikal has broken his own promise by releasing another single titled ‘Archipalago’ after announcing “Too Risky” as his last song for the year.
Promises get broken only if it is very necessary! The year was definitely a successful one for Medikal even though he has been hit by diss songs and unfair judgments sometimes. The AMG rapper grew thick skins and moved through the thorns like they don’t even exist. This new single addressed some issues which he thinks needs to be straightened up.
There were some people online (Twitter to be precise) tagging Medikal as disrespectful because they heard someone saying he (Medikal) called him a “Sell Out” and needs to apologize for the “Disrespectful” act.
The truth is, Medikal met him privately and said he is a “Sell Out” for dissing him on radio. Instead of both clearing the issue and moving on at that moment, one person decided to take it to the radio. Well, this is not a diss song, but to clear the air and let people know what is going on. Download free music below and get full details.
Gospel musician Florence Obinim has disclosed she has her husband Bishop Daniel Obinim’s anointing but lacks the gift to perform the miracles he carries out during his church services.
The leader and founder of the International Godsway Church prides himself in all sorts of miracles, from healing the sick, enlarging penises, providing financial breakthrough to transforming into any animal he desires.
The bishop recently awed Ghanaians when he disclosed he had been transformed from a human being into an angel and has since his transformation been referred to by his congregation as Angel Obinim.
Speaking on Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra100.5FM on Friday December 16, Florence Obinim told show host Nana Romeo she has her husband’s anointing but cannot perform any of his miracles.
“I cannot perform my husband’s miracles because he is an angel. Jesus said: ‘I and the Father are one,’ and he also said: ‘He is in me and I am in Him,’ and the same applies in marriage. He said: ‘You and your husband are one.’ So I definitely have the anointing he has, but we all have our gifts. As for the miracles he does, I cannot do them. My gift is to teach and sing,” the Osoro Ne Me Fie singer said
