Taking it back to the roots with costume, location and not forgetting to mention the song in itself, this is just another dope creation from Olamide.Directed by Adasa Cookey.

The award winning hits maker Guru has finally released his first 2016 hip hop single “Muhammad Ali” produced by Tipsy.
Guru who is a master when it comes to the hip hop genre exhibited pure artistic skills with his delivery as he dropped hot bars from the beginning to the end of the track.
Guru is a threat to every rapper . The NKZ record label front-liner has re-surfaced into the scene with this awesome ear-pleasing hip hop jam . With the current fracas going on about Flowking Stone’s remix to "Fire Bon Dem" which featured BET Award winner and Head of Sarkcess Music Group , Sarkodie and the most talked about and listened-to artiste in Ghana, Shatta Wale .
Guru has lifted the bar with this great production and would surly kill the current fracas . In an interview on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review on Saturday, Veteran actress Maame Dokono first threw shade at some showbiz personalities, referring to them as very irresponsible people. She mentioned that most of them don’t take care of their homes nor plan for the future, but spend on things which don’t make positive impacts on their lives. On Shatta Wale, she first commented on his (Shatta Wale’s) wife Michelle Diamond’s recent interview on The Delay Show, commending him for being a responsible husband. She said;
“I sat and wondered if any girl could marry Shatta Wale because of his behavior. But when I watched his wife’s interview and the lovely remarks she gave him, I concluded he was a responsible man.” “Let us learn something from it especially those of us in showbiz. Most showbiz personalities are irresponsible. They never take care of ladies they have kids with neither do they cater for the children. If you get to your peak in showbiz, think of accommodation, marriage, investment and other good things instead of living as if there is no tomorrow. You will not rule forever” “Shatta has done well. He has shown he is responsible and I commend him. He should continue building a future, he should not maltreat the wife and child. He should treat them well,”
Wizkid has been working on me music at his home studio in L.A (Los Angeles). He is also working on a song with Nigerian -American star, Jidenna. This will definitely sound great.
It’s an open secret that SM gad, Shatta Wale and BET award-winner, Sarkodie are one of the close pals here on our Ghanaian music scene.
Shatta Wale has disclosed times without number that anytime he did something not that good, Sarkodie would call and advise him, and that Sarkodie also calls him for advice among others.
Recently Sarkodie together with his partner-in-crime, Shatta Wale jumped on Flowking Stone FireBonDem remix and made it theirs.
After listening to Shatta Wale’s ‘After storm’ album to be released later next month, he tweeted calling Shatta Wale’s name loud and added a crown emoji to it
Adele and her fans have paid tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s bomb attacks in Brussels.
The singer got the crowd at London’s O2 Arena to sing along to one of her tracks with fans lighting up the venue with the mobile phones.
Thirty-four people and 250 were injured after suicide bombers hit the airport in Brussels and a metro station. “This is Make You Feel My Love and this is for Brussels tonight,” she told the crowd. “I want you to all sing it with me, alright, so they hear us.”
After finishing the track, from her debut album 19, she said: “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved before in my life at one of my shows, that was just so beautiful. “Thank you very much for doing that… I think they heard us.”
A minute’s silence for the victims will be held at 11am (12pm in Belgium). Police are still looking for a suspect pictured on CCTV shortly before two bombs exploded at Zaventem airport and on a metro train near Maelbeek station in Brussels. Other celebrities paid tribute to the victims of the Brussels bomb attacks as well.

According to Kanye West, his surprise pop-up shop sold over $1 million dollars worth of merchandise in just 2 days.
Kanye West was back at it with twitter fingers Tuesday evening, however this time it was all about love and positivity following the success of this past weekend’s surprise pop-up show in NYC. According to Kanye, his pop-up show sold over $1 million dollars worth of clothing over a 2-day period in NYC. It’s not that surprising of a number considering thousands of fans had lined the streets starting early Friday morning in hopes to get their hands on some ridiculously over-priced clothing gear.
“But there is no other brand that could sell 1 million dollars of clothing in 2 days from 1 location!!!” wrote Kanye in a series of tweets earlier this evening. Judging on the excitement and success of this latest pop-up shop, don’t be surprised if Kanye pulls the trigger on another location in the coming weeks, maybe Chicago or LA? Peep the tweets below!
Uncle Ebo Whyte has revealed that his upcoming play, One Million Pounds, was inspired by Reggie & Bollie, runners-up of the 2015 edition of X-Factor reality show in the UK. He made the revelation last Sunday while reacting to questions at a press viewing of the latest stage play. According to him, Reggie and Bollie inspired the play but events that take place in the play are fictitious. The new play will be staged on March 26, 27, 28 and April 2, 3 and 4 at 8pm each day at the National Theatre. It is expected to get people asking questions about what really happened to Reggie & Bollie behind the scenes while they were on X-Factor. Basically, One Million Pounds is a play about an ambitious young man called Kafui, who does not allow himself to be swayed by money. He leads a group of four (JAMA) to the finals of a UK reality show, fulfilling his dream. The group which has won the hearts of fans worldwide survives the politics of a system that only plans to take it out. One Million Pounds is an inspiring story of determination and fighting the odds even when all seem lost. Uncle Ebo Whyte. The new play adds to Uncle Ebo Whyte’s written and directed plays such as What’s My Name, Men Run Women Cry, Dad is Mom, Mom is Dad, The Day Came, Smartest Man Alive, Forbidden, Women on Fire, Games Men Play and Bananas and Groundnuts among others.
Asamoah Gyan is alleged to have slapped a worker of the Alisa Hotel in Accra following an altercation. According to an Ultimate FM report, the incident happened when the Ghana Black Stars team were checking in at the hotel ahead of Thursday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier game with Mozambique.

Supporters at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar could be housed in traditional Bedouin-style desert camps. Some of the 500,000 fans expected in the Gulf nation might be accommodated under canvas near stadiums.
“At the heart of this World Cup is a commitment to showcase hospitality and friendship of the Middle East,” said a spokesman.
“As a result, we are actively researching the concept of supporters sleeping under the stars.” Bedouin campsites are inspired by the homes of tribes that have historically lived in the Arabian and Syrian deserts.
The tournament has already been moved from its traditional June-July slot to December over concerns about high temperatures.

An Accra Circuit Court has rescinded its bench warrant issued today (Tuesday) for the arrest of Hiplife artiste Eugene Ashie popularly known as Wisa Greid.
The court presided over by Abena Agyin Doku was forced to give the order for his arrest after the musician was absent in court at the beginning of proceedings.
However his lawyer Jerry Avenorgbor, rushed to court to apologize on behalf of musician and pleaded with the Judge to rescind the decision. The Judge Abena Agyin Doku granted the plea, but cautioned the musician not to be late or absent in court even if his lawyer is not around, adding that such acts amounts to disrespecting the court.
This is not the first time the court has issued a bench warrant for Wisa’s arrest. On February 5, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he was absent in court.

The ‘Adonai’ hit maker believes all of his achievements is as result of his being ‘destined for greatness.” He told Nayoka Oware on The Journey Show, his belief in himself is also instrumental to his success. “I knew the sky was my limit. I’m that type of person I believe in myself so much. I know that I will never be satisfied with the current situation I will like to push for me but specifically I was not too sure there was going to be someone tattooing their name on … wherever but I knew it was going to succeed.”
He adds: “But the extent that was up to god. He shows the way, and paves the way. I believed that I was going to be successful. I had no doubts.” He also spoke about his lyrics in the past few years, particularly the raps about his enemies or haters trying to break him down or stop his success.
“The thing is i came from a place where there was no love so you can’t blame me for still having that in me. I need to detox myself more and get out of that but I’m still in that… Though I’m Sarkodie now I went through that life for ages but then it sells too because when i do songs like chingam, even Adonai. I’m talking about the hustle and everything. People relate because that is the reality for you.”

After the launch of Bisa Kdei’s second studio album, “Breakthrough” on December 18 last year at Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant, located inside Club 45 premises, Accra, a source reported that “Bisa Kdei was seen in Becca’s car parked somewhere in the dark, kissing and caressing the beautiful damsel, Becca” on the night of the album launch.
The report continued that “No cameras were there, and it would be hard to have noticed, but one of our writers, who followed them secretly , even swore on his left butt, that he saw Bisa Kissing Becca in her car, while fondling her as*.”Months after this report, the “Mansa” hitmaker has told us that such an incident never happened at the album launch as reported.
According to Bisa Kdei, he only accompanied Becca to her car as he did for other dignitaries who graced his event to show respect and appreciation. “Its a fabricated story, we didn’t do that. We weren’t in a car. I escorted her to her car but we weren’t in a car.
If you were at the album launch, you would realise that I was escorting people to thank them and that was what I did but we never smooched,” said Bisa Kdei. Bisa Kdei has been nominated for the Artiste Of Thea Year, Highlife song of the year, Highlife artiste of the year and Vodafone most popular songs of the year categories at this year’s Ghana Music Awards.

The king of the street, Kwaw kese during the 2016 Ghana DJs Awards craved the indulgence of Ghanaian Disc Jockeys to play more Ghanaian songs on air.
The ‘Yakubu’ hit singer put up an electrifying performance at the just ended GDJ Awards 2016. Many music lovers who witnessed the bit and pieces of all the acts by the artistes were kept on their toes by the ‘Abodam’ singer with his prowess and energy. Extolling Ghanaian DJs, he reiterated that DJs play immense role in making a song a hit hence they deserve to be accorded great respect.
The 2016 Ghana DJ Awards took place at the Accra Conference Center on Friday the March 18, with DJs being awarded for their good works. The night saw DJ Black take home the award for Best DJ Of The Year, beating Mr Kaxtro, DJ Mensah, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Andy Dosty and DJ Collins. He certainly has no competition at least for now as he has beaten all his competitors since the inception of the scheme. Performers on bill were Eno, Kwaw Kese, Ras Kuuku, Apaatse, Don Itchy, DJ Cue, Virusky and more.
One of the most respectable figures of our time, Blakk Rasta has taken a tumultuous swipe at aspiring American President Donald Trump. Donald Trump who happens to be the flag bearer of the Republican party, has courageously indicated that when voted into power he would expel all blacks especially from Africa and Muslims from America and would also build a big wall at the Mexican boarder to prevent Mexicans from entering into America. There is an anti-Trump protesters who believe Donald Trump is a racist and not savory enough to lead America. Known in real life as Abubakar Ahmed, Blakk Rasta who is one of the anti-Trump protesters is out with a song titled “Dumb Trump”. Speaking to Dr.Who, host of hot and classic showbiz review on Hot FM, Blakk Rasta revealed his motive behind the song: “My brother Dr. Who, Donald Trump is a hot headed terrorist. He is a fraud. He can’t rule America with such policies. I called him dumb because he has forgotten his policies shall derail the entire world. He is nothing but a modern day vampire ….ancestor of Hitler … He is simply a joke. I’ll personally pray he doesn’t win the elections”, Blakk Rasta told Dr. Who passionately. According to Blakk Rasta, the song was recorded by award winning sound engineer Zapp Mallet. Blakk Rasta urged everyone to rally behind his new song “Dump Trump” to help save the world from the unserious – divisive bully of a despair.
The 2016 Ghana DJ Awards took place at the Accra Conference Center on Friday the March 18, with DJs being awarded for their good works. An in-depth review of the recent Ghana DJs Awards shows that even though the planning of the event seemed well coordinated, the lapses outnumbered the positives. The event which was billed to start exactly 8pm delayed as music lovers, Award Presenters and DJs waited three (3) hours before the start of the show at 11:10pm. This has become a norm for most event organizers as they always claim the ‘Red Carpet’ session are reasons why events are not started at stipulated time. They claim celebrities and fans spend a lot of time on the red carpet taking ‘selfies’ and exclusive pictures with their fans whilst others engaged in long hours of interview. STAGE DESIGN/DECORATION The Ghana DJs Stage design was on point, the lighting system with the decorations on stage was well done. Another striking issue that crossed the minds of the audience was the failed video show on the nominees mention. It was so bad as it made most of the award presenters almost stranded. During the DJ Song of the Year category, VVIP’s name was interchange with Atom’s picture. The Gospel DJ Award winner left the stage without his plaque. SECURITY CHECK The organizers were good at the security point as the personnel used all means to ensure sanity prevailed. TICKETING Ticketing was a problem, since some DJs spoken to revealed that they were not given their complimentary tickets to the event. According to one of the organizers, a day to the Awards event they discovered that the tickets had been duplicated and pirated by an unknown persons so they had to redraw all the earlier tickets and re-print new ones on the eve of the event. This made turnout at the Accra International Conference Centre low. The upper gallery was empty. MCING Kwame Sakyiamah aka Lexis Bill saved the event on the night with his well controlled delivering and good timing. His costume was good for the event. MzGee made no impact because she was not flowing with the audience, her confidence on her first appearance on stage was down. Her black costume didn’t draw attention from the audience since it was a normal outfit. MzGee’s stay on stage didn’t count. PERFORMANCES BY DJS Dj Wabs did averagely well with his mixes but as the main starter DJ, he should have done extremely well to wow the audience. DJ Cue had a good day with his style and his scratches were amazing. DJ Vyrusky of Starr FM had good mixes. Though he started on a slow note he was able to turn the audience. PERFORMANCES BY ARTISTES/COMEDIAN At the start of the show the audience were bored because they were left waiting for too long a time, however Baba Spirit sparked excitement into them with his delivery of spectacular jokes. Female rapper, Eno could have done better with her rap flow and the movement of her body. Eventually her stage craft was lacking but had good rap lines. Don Itchy’s act was better as he utilized the stage. Dancehall Act Chameleon did a normal performance with ‘bad’ stage act. The lady and the guy he brought on stage lost focus on what they were supposed to do to make his (Chameleon) performance more exciting. A moment when most of the fans were animated was when Kwaw Kese’s name was mentioned. With his prowess and energy the ‘Abodam’ hit singer turned the whole auditorium into a ‘Psychiatric’ place with lots of excitement. Kwaw Kese was the man of the night as he also saved the show. Female Dancehall artiste, MzVee needed lots of energy to wow the fans but averagely she did well with her stage act and nice costume. She was heard miming in most of the songs she sung however others may find fault with the microphone she used. Other performances include Akpaaste Apaa who had a good control on stage and good stage act with his soldier regalia. Ras Kuuku had a lot of energy but only jumps to and fro the stage without the words in his reggae songs being heared. The duo, Galaxy Boys also did averagely well, their traditional wear was lovely. MAIN AWARDS Touching on the awards, with all respect to all the awardees, most of them didn’t deserve the awards. The definition of who is a DJ and a presenter have been redefined by Ghana DJ Awards organiser, because it is clearly stated that a DJ chooses some or all of his own music and a Radio Presenter only plays what they are told to play. Again a DJ is creative and spontaneous whilst a radio presenter is methodical and well planned. A DJ has his own unique personality whilst a radio presenter adapts to the radio stations identity. The underlisted people awarded on the eve of the event do not deserve that honour if GDJ is honestly defining DJ as stated in the dictionary.
Gospel DJ of the Year – Agyemang
Reggae/Dancehall DJ of the Year – King Lagaaze
Discovering new talents than maintaining old faces to most event followers doesn’t make an award credible, as awarding same personalities based on personal relationship makes an award less competitive. Ghana DJs Awards can improve when all flaws are rectified for the next edition.
Basement Entertainment Presents #Wonkomono by Dadaba ft Under and on the beat is the Extraordinaire Sound Engineer King Beatz.
